There is a 84% success rate for Veterans that use dogs to help them heal.
This is 4th Generation Warfare there is no Victory, there are no Winners! Many of these Soldiers are a product of their own environment, having spent three and four Tours in Theater.
According to the Department of Veteran Affairs, out of 750,000 veterans from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, around 100,000 of those veterans sought mental health care. About half of those were ultimately diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. To help these veterans deal with their PTSD, some organizations are supplying these veterans with service dogs trained to help those with mental health issues.Read more:
